Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field with 5–10 years of leadership experience.
• Specialized training in employment law, compensation, employee relations, safety, and training.

Responsibilities

• Direct employment activities ensuring properly qualified employees are recruited and hired promptly.
• Ensure policies and programs are understood and communicated to all employees.
• Oversee HR programs through HR staff and monitor administration of welfare plans and payroll processing.
• Administer wage/salary programs and performance appraisals for exempt/nonexempt employees.
• Review and approve terminations.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports for the HR department.
• Inform executives of significant problems impacting company goals.
• Develop and supervise training programs and conduct supervisory training as needed.
• Lead safety/health programs and track OSHA data.
• Act as liaison between the Company and laws/regulations (OSHA, Wage-Hour, ERISA, etc.).
• Conduct investigations of employee complaints or concerns.
• Manage employee communications and feedback channels.
• Develop and administer employee communications and promote community relations.
