Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related field.
• 5 to 10 years of progressive leadership experience in HR positions.
• Specialized training in employment law, compensation, employee relations, safety, and training preferred.
• Ability to deal effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Direct employment activities to ensure properly qualified employees are recruited and hired promptly.
• Ensure policies and programs are understood and administered consistently; communicate to all employees.
• Oversee HR programs through HR staff; monitor welfare plans and benefits programs for accuracy.
• Administer wage and salary administration and performance appraisal programs; review wage ranges annually for equity.
• Oversee payroll processing on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
• Review and approve management recommendations for employment terminations.
• Maintain records and reports necessary to carry out department functions.
• Keep the executive team informed of significant problems affecting company goals.
• Develop and supervise training programs; conduct supervisory training as needed.
• Lead the implementation of safety and health programs; track OSHA data.
