• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources and 5–10 years of progressive leadership experience in HR.
• Specialized training in employment law, compensation, employee relations, safety, and training preferred.
• Clear oral and written communication; maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong time management and organization.
• Experience influencing management decisions in HR matters.

Responsibilities

• Direct employment activities to recruit and hire qualified employees timely.
• Ensure policies and programs are understood, communicated, and applied consistently.
• Oversee HR programs through HR staff and welfare plan administration.
• Administer wage/salary programs; review internal/external pay ranges annually.
• Oversee payroll processing on a weekly or biweekly basis.
• Review and approve management recommendations for terminations.
• Maintain HR records and reports to support department functions.
• Inform executives of significant issues affecting company goals.
• Develop and supervise training programs and supervisory training.
• Lead safety/health programs and OSHA data tracking.
• Liaise with the company on policies and applicable laws/regulations.
• Investigate employee complaints or concerns as needed.
• Manage employee communications via meetings, surveys, and newsletters.
• Develop programs for employee communications and promotion of community relations.
