Job summary

Gibraltar is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support multiple manufacturing locations in Michigan and beyond. This hands-on role partners with plant and operations leaders to translate business needs into practical people solutions while upholding safety, inclusion, and accountability.

You will advise leaders on performance, employee relations, and labor relations in a unionized setting, travel between sites as required, and help shape workforce capability through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• At least five years of progressive HR generalist or HR business partner experience, preferably in manufacturing/operational environments.
• Experience supporting multiple sites or geographically dispersed leaders.
• Strong employee relations experience including investigations, performance management, and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary HR partner for assigned manufacturing locations and operational leaders.
• Develop relationships with plant leadership, supervisors, and employees.
• Translate operational needs into practical HR solutions and coach leaders on performance management.
• Support labor relations activities at unionized locations, including contract interpretation and grievance management.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation and compliant HR practices across locations.
