Job summary

Hanania Automotive Group is seeking an HR Generalist with payroll expertise to join our Jacksonville HR team. This role balances employee relations, payroll accuracy, benefits, and HR operations in a busy automotive dealership environment.

Responsibilities include payroll processing, HRIS maintenance, recruiting support, and policy implementation, with opportunities for career growth within Hanania's expanding organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR Generalist or comparable HR experience.
• Payroll processing experience required.
• Automotive dealership experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with HRIS and Paycom is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of payroll processes, timekeeping, deductions and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted HR partner to employees, managers and leadership.
• Manage and support payroll processing, timekeeping, audits, deductions and questions.
• Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management and attendance.
• Support recruiting, onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Assist with benefits administration, changes, leaves and HR programs.
• Ensure HRIS records are accurate and up to date.
• Support compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Assist with workers' compensation and unemployment claims.
