Job summary

item America, LLC, a global leader in modular systems for industrial applications, is seeking an experienced HR Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruitment across multiple facilities.

You will collaborate with department managers on job descriptions and hiring criteria, coordinate postings, and participate in college job fairs. Responsibilities include pre-employment checks, onboarding, and ongoing HR support including training, benefits, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manages full-cycle recruitment for all three facilities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating the hiring of qualified candidates.
• Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
• Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
• Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
• Conducts or coordinates pre-employment background checks.
• Coordinates and conducts new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
• Assists with tracking and documenting employee training, continuing education, and required assessments.
• Provides general HR support in areas including compensation, benefits, leave administration, employee relations, disciplinary matters, investigations, performance management, employee recognition, workplace safety, and training and development.
• Responds to employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex or sensitive matters as appropriate.
• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
• Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, talent management, and employment law.
• Performs other duties as assigned
