Job summary

Kamin Science Center is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead the HR team and drive strategic initiatives across talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and compliance. The role partners with executive leadership to ensure HR practices support the company’s manufacturing operations and growth.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in HR leadership within a unionized environment, with a track record of implementing policy, program design, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or related field required.
• Seven+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of HR systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR team and set strategic direction aligned with company goals.
• Manage talent acquisition, onboarding, compensation, benefits and employee relations.
• Oversee labor negotiations and compliance with federal/state laws.
• Provide consulting to executives on organizational design and talent management.
• Develop high-performance culture through strategic employee development.
