Job summary

Target is seeking an HR Business Partner to act as a strategic partner for leadership and a trusted resource for team members. You will guide onboarding, performance management, and organizational change while collaborating with leaders to recruit, retain, develop, and optimize the engagement of individuals and teams across our distribution centers.

You will help build a results-driven HR service model, ensuring operational excellence and a positive employee experience within the Target network.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in employee relations, talent acquisition, organizational strategy, or training and development.
• Ability to leverage strong interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations at varying levels of the organization; including but not limited to senior leadership.
• Strong reasoning, analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Proven ability to motivate teams and manage conflict.
• Ability to understand policies and procedures and relate them to others.
• Basic knowledge in word processing, spreadsheets, computer systems (examples include Excel, Word, O365)
