Job summary
Rimkus, a global leader in engineering and technical consulting, seeks an HR Business Partner to act as a strategic partner to internal client groups. You will advise leadership on people impact, drive workforce planning, and implement HR solutions aligned with business objectives.
You will collaborate with HR SMEs to ensure seamless organizational support, guide performance and development, and stay current on employment laws.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources or related field.
- 5–10 years or equivalent combination of education and experience in Human Resources.
- 3 years of experience as an HR Business Partner.
- Professional Human Resources Certification a plus.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a core people partner to internal customer groups and leadership.
- Lead workforce planning, talent management, and compensation discussions.
- Drive change initiatives and implement new HR programs.
- Provide coaching and development guidance to employees and leaders.
- Analyze data to improve retention and engagement across groups.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Collaborate with recruiting, payroll, benefits, and other HR SMEs.
- Coordinate with legal for immigration visa processing.
- Act as primary point of contact for HR topics for staff and managers.
- Support special HR projects and cross-functional initiatives.
- Assist HR team members with general duties.
