Amgen is seeking a Strategic Human Resources Manager to partner with site and functional leaders, translating business priorities into talent and workforce strategies. This role emphasizes strategic influence, HR analytics, and leadership development to drive organizational growth and engagement.

The successful candidate will help design organizational design, workforce planning, and talent pipelines while collaborating with HR centers of excellence and program leads across operations.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree or
• Master’s degree and 2 years of HR Business Partner experience
• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of HR Business Partner experience
• Associate's degree and 8 years of HR Business Partner experience
• High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Business Partner experience

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to site and functional leaders on organizational, talent, and workforce matters.
• Align people strategies with business objectives and operational priorities.
• Influence leadership thinking to drive stronger business and talent outcomes.
• Support performance management and talent review processes for leadership continuity.
• Drive organizational design, workforce planning, and talent pipelines.
• Partner with leaders to implement operations and HR development programs.
• Guide leaders through ambiguity and organizational change.
• Develop strategies to strengthen team effectiveness and culture.
