Job summary

Amgen seeks an Associate Director - Business Operations Partner for Rheumatology and Nephrology to act as a trusted strategic advisor to the General Manager and Brand Leadership Team, translating insights into action and enabling faster business decisions.

You will collaborate with Commercial Data & Analytics, Finance, and cross-functional partners to transform data into actionable insights, support planning, and ensure disciplined execution of priorities, governance, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 3+ years of operations, strategy, business analytics, or commercial experience.
• Master's degree with 5+ years of operations, strategy, business analytics, or commercial experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of operations, strategy, business analytics, or commercial experience.
• Associate's degree with 12+ years of operations, strategy, business analytics, or commercial experience.
• High school diploma / GED with 14+ years of operations, strategy, business analytics, or commercial experience.

Responsibilities

• Proactive strategic business partnership with the General Manager and Brand Leadership Team.
• Support development and execution of BU strategy by integrating commercial insights, market dynamics, financial perspectives, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence.
• Identify opportunities, performance gaps, risks, and trade-offs with actionable recommendations.
• Contribute to data-driven decision making with cross-functional partners to improve performance and growth.
