Job summary

Confidential, a national professional services firm, is building out its people infrastructure and seeks an HR Business Partner. This hybrid role is based in California, with three days in the office per week and travel ≈25%.

You will partner with branch managers across multiple locations to strengthen culture, manage workforce planning, employee relations, and performance processes. The role combines strategic influence with hands-on execution, including offers, recruiting support, and HRIS

Qualifications

• HRBP with strong business acumen and influence across operators.
• Data-driven and comfortable using metrics to shape recommendations.
• Autonomous self-starter who navigates change in a lean, scrappy environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with and challenge branch managers on workforce planning, employee relations, performance management and workplace practices.
• Use workforce data and metrics to build business cases and drive recommendations.
• Own hands-on execution, including offer letters, recruiting support and HRIS upkeep.
• Act as a culture carrier across a geographically dispersed, multi-state team.
