Job summary

Habitat for Humanity of Omaha is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a strategic and hands-on partner to leaders and managers. You will translate organizational priorities into practical people strategies, strengthen manager capability and accountability, and guide employee relations, performance, planning, and development.

Reporting to the CFO, you will coach leaders, drive organizational effectiveness, and help shape workforce planning and engagement initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, organizational development, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
7–10 years of HR experience with HRBP, HR generalist, or employee relations background.
Proven ability to advise leaders, coach managers on employee relations, performance, and talent matters.

Responsibilities

Act as trusted advisor to CFO, executives, and department leaders on people and organizational effectiveness.
Coach leaders on workforce planning, organization design, succession, and change management.
Partner on talent reviews, career development, retention, and internal mobility; support onboarding decisions with hiring leaders.
Identify risks and trends from data and feedback and recommend proactive HR solutions.
Support employee engagement initiatives and equitable application of HR policies.
