Fort Pontchartrain in Lake Harmony, PA seeks a Sales Manager to maximize occupancy and ADR growth while meeting profit objectives. You will manage accounts, develop new opportunities, and promote the hotel through networking and targeted marketing initiatives.

In partnership with the General Manager, you will forecast budgets, coordinate advertising and sales plans, and lead a team to achieve revenue goals.

Qualifications

4+ years of progressive hotel sales experience or a 4-year college degree with related experience.
Valid driver’s license in the applicable state.
Strong verbal & written communication skills for negotiation and influence.
Proficient in professional selling: opening, probing, supporting, closing.
Strong analytical skills and strategic vision for sales deployment.

Responsabilités

Coordinate all group, transient, and catering sales solicitations and bookings to maximize revenue.
Assist in development and management of annual budget, advertising, and marketing plans with GM.
Proactively conduct outside sales calls and sales tours.
Negotiate terms within contracts and proposals; process bookings and follow-ups.
Develop market awareness to predict revenue opportunities and set proactive strategies.
Attend tradeshows and industry events; maintain consistency with corporate standards.
Oversee events to ensure contract compliance and revenue targets.
