JB Duke Hotel in Durham, NC is seeking a Sales Manager to proactively develop new business, nurture client relationships, and drive revenue growth across assigned market segments. The role focuses on end-to-end sales processes from inquiry to contract, with occasional travel to meet prospects and close deals.

The ideal candidate will be a relationship-driven sales professional with at least 2 years in hospitality sales, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and the ability to collaborate

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hotel sales experience or related hospitality sales experience required.
• Degree, professional certification, or relevant hospitality/sales training preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to prospect for new business and develop client relationships.

Responsabilités

• Proactively solicit and develop new business within assigned market segments.
• Meet or exceed revenue and sales activity goals.
• Manage sales process from inquiry through proposal, negotiation, contracting, and follow-up.
• Coordinate with Conference Services, Catering, and hotel operations for seamless transitions.
• Maintain accurate client records and sales activity in CRM.
