Job summary

Healthcare Management Administrators (HMA) is seeking an Account Manager to steward strategic client and broker relationships across self-funded health plans. You will design account strategies, own renewals, and conduct business reviews to identify risks and opportunities while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

A BA in healthcare plus experience in health insurance is preferred; remote-friendly nationwide role.

Qualifications

• BA degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent
• WA State Agents License or Life & Disability designation preferred
• 1–2 years of health insurance industry experience
• 2 years of account management experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary strategic relationship owner for client and broker partners.
• Lead development and execution of account strategies focused on retention and growth.
• Own renewal strategy and process for assigned accounts.
• Conduct regular client business reviews and share insights.
• Provide consultative recommendations aligned with client objectives.
• Identify opportunities to introduce additional HMA products.
