Job summary

Paychex is seeking a Mid-Market Sales professional in Charlotte, NC, to partner with growing businesses (20–99 employees) and expand their people operations with Paychex Flex and HR services.

You'll lead consultative conversations with owners and key decision-makers, manage a high-velocity sales process, and build a strong pipeline through outbound prospecting in a fast-paced environment that rewards performance.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years professional sales experience in a B2B environment.
• 2+ years HCM experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate consultative, solution-based sales conversations.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business by prospecting and winning new logos within your territory.
• Sell Paychex Flex® and advanced HR services.
• Execute outbound activity to build a robust pipeline.
• Lead consultative conversations with owners and key decision-makers.
• Manage a high-velocity sales process for small to mid-size businesses.
• Own the full sales cycle—from discovery to closing.
