Job summary

Paychex is reimagining how businesses manage their workforce with payroll, HR, benefits, and advisory services in a single connected HCM platform. Mid-Market Sales focuses on 20-99 employee firms, driving growth and helping them scale with confidence.

Responsibilities include prospecting, selling Paychex Flex and HR services, and guiding business owners through a high-velocity sales cycle from discovery to close. Strong B2B sales experience and HCM knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years professional sales experience; 3 years B2B Sales Environment.
• 2+ years HCM experience strongly preferred.
• Cold calling experience and CRM software experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business by prospecting and winning new logos within your assigned territory.
• Sell a robust suite of solutions, including Paychex Flex and advanced HR services.
• Execute outbound activity to build a pipeline (calls, outreach, networking, partnerships, follow-ups).
• Lead consultative sales conversations with business owners and key decision-makers.
• Manage a high velocity sales process with small and mid-size businesses (1-2 call closes).
• Own the full sales process—from discovery to closing.
