Job summary

Fora is seeking a Senior Manager/Manager for Central Strategy & Operations in New York City. You will act as an internal consultant and operator, owning analyses, framing problems, and driving cross-functional projects that unlock new revenue and efficiency gains.

High performers may lead a business unit within 18–36 months. You will structure ambiguous problems, design experiments, and design dashboards while collaborating with product, partnerships, and growth teams to scale initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3–9 years in a growth-stage startup, top-tier management consulting firm, investment bank, or structured general-management/rotational program (e.g., Amazon, Uber, DoorDash).
• Analytical Rigor: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets; comfort building financial and operational models from scratch and translating data into actionable business insights.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, biases toward action, and relentlessly seeks improvement.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills with the ability to distill complex analyses into executive-ready insights.
• Project & Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives on aggressive timelines.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics or related field
• Passion for Travel, Technology & AI: Passionate about travel and excited by emerging technologies. Actively incorporates AI into day-to-day work to enhance productivity, automate workflows, and solve problems, with a curiosity to experiment and help shape how AI transforms both the function and the broader company

Responsibilities

• Strategic Problem-Solving – Structure ambiguous problems, build analytical models, and synthesize insights into clear recommendations.
• Experimentation & Analytics – Design experiments, analyze results, and iterate quickly to optimize product-market fit and unit economics.
• Project Management – Drive cross-functional workstreams from concept through launch.
• Operational Excellence – Design and implement processes, dashboards and KPIs that improve efficiency and scalability of new initiatives.
