Fora is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own the growth operating model behind forecasting, planning, and goal-setting. You will partner with Strategy & Operations, Finance, and exec leadership to drive decisions and investments.

This role sits on the Data Science & Analytics team and emphasizes real-world impact over theoretical work. Based in NYC with a focus on growth, pricing initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration, you will help guide leaders and founders with data-driven insights

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in business data science, analytics, or strategy.
• Experience building financial or operating models using forecasting, regression analysis, and cohort analysis.
• Advanced SQL and Python or scripting language knowledge.
• Experience with cloud data stack and data modeling best practices.
• Experience using LLM tools to accelerate analysis and prototyping.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills.
• Curious with a drive to learn; pragmatic and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Own the growth operating model to forecast the business and run scenarios.
• Partner with Strategy & Operations and Finance on goals and forecasting.
• Analyze data to diagnose business trajectory and trends.
• Size opportunities and model impact of pricing changes and new initiatives.
• Partner with leadership to shape strategic company decisions and investments.
• Mentor peers and set data team standards.
