Job summary

Valcourt Group in Florida is seeking a Business Development Manager to build a portfolio of target customers, educate them about the company’s services, and pursue growth opportunities. This foundation-building role requires interacting with owners, property managers and consulting engineers through campaigns and events to develop new business and secure response submittals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction or waterproofing.
• Strong MS Office, CRM, PPT, and proposal preparation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop strategic relationships with partners and customers.
• Develop a strong pipeline of new customers and projects via direct/indirect prospecting.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to plan events, tradeshows, webinars, and conferences.
• Generate business through outbound lead activity and researching prospects.
• Qualify inbound leads and prioritize opportunities; mobilize internal resources.
• Maintain understanding of the company’s service offerings and differentiators.
• Nurture prospects through in-person communication; track activity in CRM.
• Establish rapport with stakeholders at all levels; represent at networking events.
• Manage KPI reports for sales activity, leads, opportunities, and pipeline.
• Prepare proposals and present project documentation for review and negotiation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
