Job summary

Valcourt is seeking a Business Development Manager in Lanham, MD to build a customer portfolio, educate prospects about our services, and pursue growth opportunities. You will engage with owners, property managers, and engineers, and coordinate with estimating teams to prepare proposals.

You will travel up to 50% to develop relationships, attend events, and drive pipeline development, while delivering impactful presentations and competitive positioning across service offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction or waterproofing field.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and help develop strategic relationships with partners and potential customers.
• Develop a strong pipeline of new customers and projects.
• Plan and attend events, tradeshows, webinars, presentations and conferences.
• Generate business through outbound lead activity and research potential prospects.
• Qualify inbound leads and prioritize opportunities for internal teams.
• Prepare proposals and present project documentation to clients.
