Job summary

1898 & Co. is a global business, technology, and security consultancy serving critical infrastructure industries. This role focuses on market growth, strategy, and demand creation within the power sector, building trusted advisor relationships with senior client leadership.

You will lead multi-disciplinary engagements across consulting, technology, and advisory services, shaping opportunities pre-RFP and driving measurable revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction or related field; 13+ years related professional experience in marketing, business development or sales in A/E/C industry preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to present complex information to all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute targeted account growth strategies for power market clients within a region/portfolio.
• Lead executive-level discovery conversations to understand business priorities and technology gaps.
• Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with senior decision-makers in utilities, IPPs, grid operators, and regulators.
• Lead client meetings, workshops, and executive discussions; coordinate with leadership on priority pursuits.
• Drive full sales lifecycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and execution.
