Job summary

1898 & Co. is seeking a Senior Market Growth & Strategy professional to lead growth initiatives for power-market clients across regions. You will align with business line leaders, shape opportunities, and drive advisory-to-engagement conversion.

You will engage executives, translate policy and market drivers into actionable roadmaps, and collaborate with consulting, delivery, and marketing teams to deliver measurable outcomes. Expect travel and cross‑functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction or related field from an accredited program.
• 13+ years of related professional experience in marketing, business development or sales promotion environment (A/E/C industry preferred).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to present complex information to all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute targeted account growth strategies for power market clients within an assigned region.
• Identify latent client needs and develop opportunities before formal procurement or RFP processes.
• Lead executive-level discovery conversations to understand business priorities and technological gaps.
• Frame the value of change by articulating business impact, risk, and opportunity.
• Coordinate with Managing Directors and subject matter experts to develop solutions and pipeline.
• Lead full sales lifecycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and execution.
