SAIC is seeking a Strategic Growth & Capture Intern to join the Reston, VA team onsite. You will work alongside BD executives, capture managers, and analysts to gain hands‑on exposure to the federal procurement lifecycle, competitive intelligence, and executive‑level proposal development.

You’ll contribute to market research, competitive landscapes, and capture strategy while learning to analyze pipelines, build dashboards in Power BI, and support pre‑award milestones. U.S.

Qualifications

• Current college student with two or more years of coursework in a business‑related major.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable working with data and presentations.
• Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated organization, teamwork, and/or leadership experience.
• Self‑starter with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep‑dive market assessments across defense, space, civilian, and intelligence agency pipelines using federal market tools such as GovWin IQ and SAM.gov.
• Assist in developing competitive landscapes, competitor profiles, and intelligence dossiers.
• Synthesize findings into executive briefing decks highlighting customer pain points, budget trajectories, and procurement trends.
• Support capture managers across pre‑award milestones including qualification, solutioning, teaming, and price‑to‑win reviews.
• Maintain pursuit health data in CRM and build Power BI dashboards tracking KPIs such as pipeline value and win rate.
