Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Business Development Manager in Pleasanton, CA. You will drive market expansion, build a strong sales pipeline, and lead pursuit teams to construct compelling proposals.

You will engage partners and customers, present solutions to decision makers, and close opportunities while collaborating with a results-driven team in a culture that values growth and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Market Expansion: identify potential markets and customers; develop strategies to expand the customer base.
• Develop Pipeline: work with decision makers to assess need and build a business case; target pipeline 3:1 over plan.
• Proposal Construction: lead pursuit team to construct proposals with quotes and business case.
• Presenting & Closing: present proposals to decision makers; manage objections and close deals.
• Partner Engagement: initiate contact with partners and customers to grow pipeline.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
