Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in grant writing, grant administration, procurement, or public sector finance.
• MCCPO Certification required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement process in compliance with Massachusetts General Laws, Town policies, and procedures.
• Develop and issue IFBs, RFPs, and RFQs; coordinate bid openings, evaluations, and contract awards.
• Maintain procurement records and ensure audit readiness; provide training to departments on procurement procedures.
• Identify, research, and track grant opportunities; coordinate with departments to develop competitive grant applications.
• Prepare and submit grant proposals, supporting materials, and required documentation; monitor grants for compliance.
• Maintain records of all grant activity and serve as liaison with granting agencies.
• Develop and update grant-related and procurement-related policies and ensure compliance with laws and Town policies.
