Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a Manager of Global Supplier Partnerships to negotiate hotel agreements, drive revenue, and manage end-to-end supplier relationships. You will lead contracts, business development, and strategic programs such as the Hotel Growth Initiative, coordinating with multiple teams to deliver value.

The role requires a data-driven mindset, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed,

Qualifications

• Fluent English in written and spoken form.
• Commercial, data-driven mindset with strong analytical and strategic skills.
• Proven negotiator with track record of structuring and closing strong agreements.
• Strong problem-solving skills; thrives under ambiguity and pressure.
• Deep knowledge of hotels, hotel agreements, and travel supplier landscape.
• Working knowledge of revenue management and travel tech platforms (GDS, POS, booking tools).
• Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills across all levels.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects autonomously and remotely with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.
• Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments; travel domestically/internationally.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate strategic hotel supplier agreements that deliver value and align with Amex GBT objectives.
• Identify, develop, and drive incremental revenue opportunities with suppliers.
• Operationalize supplier value propositions and ensure delivery of commitments.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with suppliers through innovative engagement approaches.
• Analyze portfolio metrics, track performance, and coordinate revenue forecasts.
• Collaborate across departments and regions to align strategies and optimize outcomes.
