Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel seeks a Manager of Global Hotel Partnerships (GSP) in the United States. You will lead end-to-end supplier management, from contract negotiation and execution to business development and strategic partnership programs, including our Hotel Growth Initiative.

You’ll negotiate strategic agreements, accelerate revenue growth, and collaborate across multiple teams to align strategies, drive value, and forecast performance.

Qualifications

• Fluent English (written/verbal); multilingual a plus
• Commercial, data-driven mindset with strong analytical and strategic skills
• Proven negotiator with a track record of structuring and closing strong agreements/deals
• Strong problem-solving skills; excels in ambiguity and under pressure
• Deep knowledge of hotels, hotel agreements, and the broader TMC/travel supplier landscape
• Working knowledge of revenue management and travel tech platforms (GDS, POS, booking tools)
• Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills across all levels
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects autonomously and remotely, with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills
• Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments; flexible to travel domestically/internationally

Responsibilities

• Negotiate strategic hotel supplier agreements that deliver value and meet commercial objectives
• Identify and drive incremental revenue opportunities with existing and prospective suppliers
• Operationalize supplier value propositions and ensure delivery of commitments
• Build and maintain supplier relationships through innovative engagement approaches
• Analyse portfolio metrics and develop revenue forecasts in coordination with Global Revenue Management
• Collaborate across departments and regions to align strategies and optimize outcomes
