Compass Group USA is seeking a General Manager to lead strategic operations across workplace dining and café locations. You will own day-to-day cafe performance, financial stewardship, and hospitality excellence while guiding high-performing teams.

You will collaborate with culinary, nutrition, and marketing to roll out innovative concepts, ensure safety and compliance, and drive continuous improvement in guest satisfaction and financial results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Business Management, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive food service management experience in multi-unit or high-volume operations.
• Proven track record in financial management, P&L accountability, and budget optimization.
• Tech-savvy with modern workspace tools, data analytics, and digital platforms.
• Strong leadership, emotional intelligence, and communication skills.
• Deep passion for sustainable food practices and hospitality innovation.

Responsibilities

• Operational & Financial Ownership: Direct day-to-day cafe operations, P&L, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Innovative Hospitality & Culinary Integration: Partner with culinary, nutrition, and marketing to launch modern dining concepts.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with procurement, risk management, and people operations to meet goals.
• Talent & Culture Leadership: Lead HR functions, including talent development and coaching.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain food safety and workplace security practices.
• Communication & Responsiveness: Maintain clear communication with clients, leadership, and guests.
