Job summary

Mays Chemical, a Ravago Company, in Indianapolis seeks a Traffic Coordinator to schedule shipments and notify customers of ETAs. The role coordinates with Customer Service, Purchasing, Shipping & Receiving, and Traffic Team to ensure timely deliveries and optimal routing with 3PL/TMS partners.

Responsibilities include backup support to Traffic/Fleet Manager, processing 3rd party shipments, documenting orders, and staying compliant with regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in a logistics/traffic environment.
• Certifications: IATA (Air), IMDG (Ocean), and 49 CFR (Ground).

Responsibilities

• Schedule internal and external shipments and notify internal customers of ETAs.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Purchasing, Shipping & Receiving and Traffic Team to plan deliveries.
• Assist in export/import duties as needed.
• Provide timely updates to internal customers and communicate order changes or delays.
• Back up Traffic/Fleet Manager duties and support 3PL/TMS coordination.
