Qualifications

• Knowledge of Department of Transportation requirements and functions relating to ground transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Overall computer skills and Microsoft programs.
• Preferred knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Ability to learn computer systems and programs (Eniteo).

Responsibilities

• Manage the Que and Merge of orders from Sales for loading inventory.
• Resolve discrepancies from deliveries by checking stock and locations.
• Determine rates for outside haulers and coordinate with freight reports.
• Create pre-receiving verifications for material and generate load with correct materials.
• Review inbound statuses and ensure proper scheduling of deliveries.
• Commit inventory by updating in-stock records.
• Review daily shipment schedules to determine material needs for outbound loads.
• Coordinate load assignments to internal drivers and outside carriers.
• Communicate load issues with Sales and drive timely updates.
• Oversee compliance with Federal regulations and safety alerts.
