Job summary

Dechert is seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to join its finance team. You will own complex models, forecast revenue, analyze profitability, and prepare executive-ready materials for senior leaders, with significant interaction across practice groups and offices.

As a hands-on, standalone contributor, you will translate financial data into narratives, support budgeting and long-range planning, and help drive strategic decision-making in a fast-paced law firm environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a professional services environment with FP&A focus.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; ability to build/maintain complex models.
• Strong PowerPoint and executive presentation skills for leadership materials.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance complex financial models for revenue forecasting, cost analysis, cash flow, rate analysis, profitability, and scenario modeling.
• Develop revenue forecasts incorporating historical trends, matter activity, staffing, and pricing considerations.
• Prepare executive-ready analyses and presentations for firm leadership and leadership–level stakeholders.
• Analyze performance drivers such as hours, realization, leverage, and client profitability; support budget/forecast cycles.
