Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree with a Business, IS, or STEM major; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of FP&A experience in professional services.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling; independent model building.
• Strong PowerPoint and executive presentation skills.
• Experience with large data sets; familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, SSMS, Elite, Aderant.
• Excellent communication, time management, discretion with confidential data.
• Ability to lead workstreams in a flat, collaborative environment.
• Strong facilitation, research, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

Aufgaben

• Build, maintain, and enhance complex financial models for revenue forecasting, cost analysis, cash flow planning, rate analysis, profitability, and scenario modeling.
• Develop revenue forecasts considering historical trends, billing, matter activity, staffing assumptions, practice group dynamics, and other drivers.
• Support growth analyses, including modeling revenue, compensation, staffing, expenses, profitability, cash flow impact, and sensitivity scenarios.
• Prepare executive-ready analyses and presentations for firm leadership with clear narrative, risks, and actions.
• Analyze drivers like hours, rates, realization, collections, leverage, matter economics, client profitability, and office performance.
• Collaborate with BI and technical finance colleagues to leverage data sources, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Translate complex financial and operational data into concise insights for planning, pricing, staffing, investment, and decisions.
• Conduct detailed expense, headcount, compensation, and operating cost analyses for budget and forecast updates.
• Assist with annual budget, forecast updates, long-range planning, and other FP&A processes, focusing on modeling and leadership materials.
• Respond to sensitive ad hoc requests by framing the issue, identifying data, and communicating findings clearly.
• Benchmark performance against internal and external data to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate in a flat team environment, contributing hands-on analytical capacity and financial perspective.
