Job summary

Ambience is seeking a Strategic Finance / FP&A Lead to architect and scale financial forecasting, planning, and reporting. You will build and maintain models that drive decision-making across GTM, Product, and Executive leadership, ensuring GAAP-ready processes and insightful investor storytelling.

You will embed in the business, partnering with sales, product, and operations to translate operational reality into forward-looking financial visibility, applying SaaS fluency and autonomous

Qualifications

• 6-10 years in strategic finance or FP&A at high-growth SaaS/tech firms.
• Experience owning company-wide financial models and multi-year forecasts.
• Fluency in SaaS metrics and enterprise sales finance.
• Cross-functional partnership with GTM, Product, and G&A leaders.
• Excellent executive communication and ownership of forecast updates.
• Ability to automate processes with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Own Ambience's 2-year financial model and rolling P&L forecast.
• Lead the annual planning process end-to-end with department leads.
• Establish monthly forecast cadence and variance analysis.
• Prepare for quarterly board meetings with investor-ready materials.
• Build forecasting engines linking capacity, pipeline, and pricing.
• Represent finance at deal desks to ensure accurate margins.
