Job summary

communityhealthcenters is seeking a Financial Analyst in the Finance department. Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, you will perform financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting to support planning and decision-making, collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources.

You will manage grant-related activities, prepare forecasts, and collaborate with internal departments. The role requires adherence to HIPAA and high attention to accuracy, professionalism, and punctuality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline; minimum five years as a financial analyst.
• Proficiency with PPS rates, managed care capitation, and UDS preferred.
• Strong analytical, forecasting, and reporting skills.
• Experience with budget preparation and variance analysis.
• Knowledge of grant accounting and federal/state foundation grants (Section 330).

Responsibilities

• Provides analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management.
• Lead budget preparation and monthly variance analysis.
• Produce monthly production reports from billing software.
• Prepare schedules and reports for external government audits and UDS.
• Supports grant-related activities including applications, monitoring, reporting, and closeout.
• Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate projects.
