The position emphasizes financial discipline, collaboration with managers, and preparation of budgets and forecasts in Federal and state funded programs.

Qualifications

• 2 years of accounting, bookkeeping or financial analysis experience required
• Experience in accounting or financial management fields required
• Advanced Excel and accounting databases skills required
• Understanding of applicable laws and regulations required
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle required

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and review budget proposals and funding requests including grants
• Prepare detailed reports on budgets, revisions, performance
• Participate in operating budget preparation and revisions
• Monitor budgets and report variances to leadership
• Oversee expenditures and identify spending trends
• Provide technical support to managers and enter budget amendments
• Run queries/reports in Financial Edge or Yardi
• Ensure funding compliance with grant requirements
• Assist with grant close-out reporting
• Contribute to accounting entries and grant tracking
