Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to own the operating model, budgeting cadence, and planning processes. You’ll partner with functional leaders and the CFO to translate finance results into clear strategic insights for the founders and board.

This role shapes new product investments, partnerships, and channel economics at a high growth, insurtech‑driven company. You’ll build driver-based models, lead monthly reviews, and drive the selection and rollout of a planning system.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience, ideally combining investment banking/ corporate development with FP&A in high-growth companies.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
• Strong financial modeling skills: driver-based operating models, three-statement mechanics, scenario and sensitivity analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own the operating model, planning cadence, and spend discipline.
• Run annual budget and long-range planning end-to-end with assumptions and stakeholder input.
• Own monthly/quarterly forecast cycle and variance analysis; explain movements to executives.
• Write executive narratives for CFO and founders; produce board-ready insights.
• Lead monthly business reviews with functional leaders to drive decisions.
• Support evaluating and implementing a planning system; assess options and rollout.
• Build financial cases for new opportunities: size markets and model economics.
• Frame build/buy/partner decisions and support corporate development diligence.
