Job summary

zerohash is seeking a Director of Strategic Finance to lead strategic planning, FP&A, and commercial finance for a high-growth crypto infrastructure platform.

You will own the operating model, profitability framework, strategic pricing, and deal desks, while collaborating with Product, Revenue, and Engineering teams to maximize ROI. This role reports directly to the VP, Corporate Finance and Treasury and requires a technically rigorous, business-minded leader.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years in Strategic Finance or FP&A, with strong operating leadership in high-growth tech.
• Background in Investment Banking or Private Equity plus operating FP&A in a tech company is preferred.
• Experience in FinTech/crypto payments or banking infra is a strong plus.
• Advanced financial modeling skills; able to build three-statement models from scratch.
• Tech and data fluency; familiarity with SQL or BI tools such as Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Architect the Operating Model and create dynamic top-down and bottom-up forecasts for headcount and capital allocation.
• Develop profitability framework to track product- and platform-level margins.
• Align Product Strategy with Revenue needs; advise pricing strategy and ROI on roadmaps.
• Lead Strategic Pricing & Deal Desk with Revenue teams to structure complex enterprise contracts.
• Drive Vendor Strategy & Cost Optimization to improve unit economics and scalable input costs.
• Represent VP/CFO during high-stakes engagements; maintain current financial models and investor-facing materials.
• Develop Customer Cohort framework; analyze LTV and CAC across products and verticals.
