Job summary

Chainalysis is seeking a Senior Manager of Strategic Finance to partner with the CFO and senior leaders, shaping long-range financial models, evaluating growth opportunities, and guiding capital allocation as the business scales.

You will lead market analyses, pricing strategy development, and scenario planning, translating complex data into executive-ready narratives and actionable recommendations while ensuring operational feasibility.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, FP&A, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong executive presentation skills; ability to present complex topics to a C-level audience.
• Strong business intuition and ability to connect financial outcomes to operational drivers.
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity and making high-quality decisions with incomplete information.

Responsibilities

• Lead valuation work and TAM analyses and market research.
• Analyze pricing and packaging models; understand market pricing trends related to AI and consumption.
• Enhance and own the long-range financial model; build dynamic models to evaluate financial impact of decisions; lead sensitivity analysis.
• Create sophisticated financial models and drive scenario analyses for capital allocation decisions (M&A, partnerships, new market entry).
• Synthesize scenario outputs into executive-ready narratives and recommendations.
• Track post-investment performance against underwriting assumptions and feed learnings back into planning process.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on high-stakes questions.
• Be operationally savvy and ensure feasibility of strategic recommendations.
