Job summary

Iskagna, a Charleston-based construction and development management firm, seeks a Controller to own financial operations including day-to-day accounting, job costing, and cash management. You will partner with the Managing Partner on financial strategy and scalable controls for Southeast growth.

The role requires 7+ years in accounting/finance within construction or real estate, CPA preferred, and strong Excel & reporting skills. In-person, Charleston, SC office; competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including construction, development, or real estate accounting.
• CPA license strongly preferred; BS in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field required.
• Experience with job costing, WIP schedules, and percentage-of-completion accounting.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process with GAAP-compliant statements.
• Maintain the general ledger, chart of accounts, and accounting policies across entities.
• Prepare financial reporting packages and dashboards for the Managing Partner and leadership team.
