Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting seeks an experienced Construction Controller to own accounting and financial operations for a $40M construction group. You will drive close processes, job costing, and WIP while partnering with project teams to forecast costs and margins.

The role offers autonomy in a stable, family‑oriented firm with growth plans and a chance to implement meaningful improvements to controls and reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong construction accounting experience with job costing and WIP.
• Experience in revenue recognition and cost-to-complete forecasting.
• Ability to own accounting in a project-based organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close with financial statements.
• Own construction accounting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
• Partner with PMs and Operations on forecasts and project profitability.
• Oversee AP, AR, billing, and related controls.
• Provide financial insight for strategic decisions.
• Manage one direct report (AP/payroll).
