Job summary

Heartflow is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager for the Northeast region (NY, CT, MA, ME) to act as the embedded reimbursement expert within the commercial team. You will enable sales success by addressing coding, billing, and access concerns and partnering with facilities to improve patient access across the cCTA pathway.

Qualifications

• Revenue Cycle Mastery: Expert knowledge of medical coding (CPT, ICD-10-CM/PCS), payer policies, prior authorization workflows, and claims appeals processes across governmental and commercial payers.
• Policy Interpretation: Ability to interpret CMS Local and National Coverage Determinations and commercial payer medical policies for required documentation and guidance.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor payer policy changes and coverage trends to keep guidance current and competitive.

Responsibilities

• Attend strategic customer calls to address complex coding, billing, and access concerns, positioning Heartflow as a consultative resource.
• Partner with Field Sales Team to identify facilities needing reimbursement support and develop strategies to address barriers.
• Educate the commercial team on coding updates, billing trends, and payer developments to keep the field organization aligned.
• Conduct claim reviews to identify patterns, provide recommendations, and ensure materials support reimbursement outcomes.
• Support customers across the full reimbursement cycle: pre-service authorization through post-service claims and appeals.
