Job summary

Heartflow is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager for the Northeast region (NY, CT, MA, ME). Remote, field-based role, travel up to 30%.

You will provide reimbursement expertise across coding, billing, and access, partnering with sales teams to remove barriers and improve patient access. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in medical coding/billing, experience with hospital billing optimization, and ability to operate with a quota-carrying field sales team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of coding and billing experience in governmental and commercial claims.
• Direct support of large health system or hospital billing optimization.
• Experience embedded within a commercial sales organization.
• Must live in or be able to relocate to the Northeast region.
• Remote, field-based role with ~30% travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Attend strategic customer calls to address complex coding, billing, and access concerns.
• Partner with Field Sales to identify facilities needing reimbursement support and develop strategies.
• Educate the commercial team on coding updates, billing trends, and payer developments.
• Monitor payer policies, CMS determinations, and market access trends to keep guidance current.
• Support customers across the full reimbursement cycle from pre-service authorization through claims and appeals.
