Job summary

Heartflow is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to act as the embedded reimbursement expert within our commercial field team. This remote, field-based role serves health systems and providers across the Northeast, supporting coding, billing, and access challenges.

You will partner with field sales to optimize prior authorizations, claims appeals, and chargemaster alignment, while educating teams on payer policy changes and evolving reimbursement guidelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of coding and billing experience managing governmental and commercial claims.
• Experience in medical coding and reimbursement supporting large health system billing optimization.
• Experience embedded with or alongside a commercial sales organization.
• Must be located in or able to relocate to states within the Northeast region.

Responsibilities

• Operate as embedded reimbursement expert within the commercial field team to enable sales success.
• Attend strategic customer calls to address coding, billing, and access concerns.
• Develop strategies with Field Sales to address barriers and optimize reimbursement workflows.
• Educate the commercial team on coding updates, billing trends, and payer developments.
• Conduct onsite visits and remote consultations to educate customers on billing scenarios and documentation.
• Manage reimbursement support across pre-service to post-service claims and appeals.
