Job summary

Heartflow is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to serve as the embedded reimbursement expert within the commercial field team across the Northeast region. You will address coding, billing, and access concerns, and collaborate with sales to remove barriers to patient access.

You will educate teams on payer policies, monitor CMS determinations, and help optimize prior authorization workflows and claims appeals. This remote, field-based role requires travel ~30% and living in the Northeast.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of coding and billing experience with governmental and commercial claims.
• Experience in medical service coding and reimbursement for large health systems or hospital billing optimization.
• Experience operating within a commercial sales organization as a embedded reimbursement resource.
• Must live in or be able to relocate to the Northeast region states.

Responsibilities

• Attend strategic customer calls to address complex coding, billing, and access concerns, positioning Heartflow as a consultative resource.
• Educate the commercial team on coding updates, billing trends, and payer developments to keep the team aligned.
• Partner with health system revenue cycle and finance to review and optimize chargemaster for cCTA pathway reimbursements.
• Conduct claim reviews to identify patterns and provide actionable recommendations to improve reimbursement outcomes.
• Support customers across the full reimbursement cycle from pre-service authorization to post-service appeals.
