Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Federal Alternative Delivery Market Lead in the United States. This role focuses on positioning the firm as a premier design partner for prime contractor teams on federal alternative delivery projects, including Progressive Design-Build and DB2B opportunities.

You will collaborate with Client Service Leaders and cross-functional teams to develop teaming strategies, nurture executive relationships, and drive early teaming commitments through to award.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 15 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related technical discipline will be considered for senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Target direct relationships with regional and national General Contractors pursuing federal contracts.
• Position CDM Smith as the preferred design subcontractor early in the procurement cycle and negotiate terms.
• Lead teaming strategies and coordinate with pursuit teams to present engineering expertise, constructability, and cost validation.
• Support CSLs with target identification, teaming decisions, and next actions throughout the pursuit process.
