Job summary

VCU Health seeks a Faculty Employment Coordinator to assist with the successful recruitment of faculty. The role coordinates all aspects of faculty recruiting to introduce candidates to the organization professionally and positively.

Collaboration spans Chairs Offices, Human Resources, School of Medicine, MCVP, and Health System Leadership. Responsibilities include coordinating interviews, supporting recruitment activities, and occasional travel between facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years HR or customer service, secretarial/administrative experience.
• Experience with personal computers, Microsoft Office applications and e-mail calendaring.
• Preferred: Six (6) years HR or customer service experience; HR experience in academic or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interview and recruitment related activities for faculty candidates identified and interviewed.
• Undertakes and completes other project work as assigned.
• Must be willing to travel between facilities as needed.
