Job summary

Jeff Wyler Acura of Fairfield in Fairfield, Ohio, is seeking a motivated Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to guide customers through financing and protection products. You will coordinate vehicle financing, present extended service contracts, and work with lenders to secure timely approvals.

The ideal candidate has automotive F&I management experience, strong sales and communication skills, and the ability to structure deals while ensuring compliance with federal and Ohio laws.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive F&I management experience required.
• Strong sales, negotiation, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of automotive financing, lending programs, and aftermarket products.
• Understanding of dealership contracts, title documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven dealership environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with customers and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Present and explain financing options, extended service contracts, GAP protection, maintenance plans, and other products to customers.
• Work with banks, credit unions, and other lending institutions to secure financing options and obtain timely credit approvals.
• Review credit applications, evaluate financing options, structure deals, and assist in securing approvals that meet customer needs and dealership objectives.
• Achieve established F&I performance goals, including product penetration, finance reserve where permitted, and per-retail-unit profitability.
• Deliver a transparent, professional, and efficient finance process while ensuring customers understand their contracts, payment obligations, and selected products.
• Ensure all finance and insurance transactions comply with applicable federal and Ohio laws, lending requirements, privacy standards, and dealership policies.
• Prepare, review, and submit accurate contracts, credit applications, disclosures, funding documents, and other required paperwork.
• Partner with the sales team, sales management, and accounting department to ensure smooth deal handoffs, accurate paperwork, and timely funding.
• Monitor contract funding, resolve lender stipulations, and address outstanding documentation to minimize funding delays.
• Stay current on lender programs, F&I products, industry trends, and compliance requirements.
