Job summary

Dow is seeking an External Manufacturing Sourcing Manager to define sourcing opportunities and align strategies across multiple locations, including Midland, Houston, Terneuzen, and Tarragona. You will negotiate with suppliers, manage risk, and lead cross-functional teams to optimize long‑term value for Dow.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience, and the ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking OR 10 years of relevant working experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• For U.S. Applicants: must be able to work legally in the United States.
• No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Clarify scope of purchase and service requirements with stakeholders.
• Drive value from market and identify competitive solutions to save costs.
• Assess risk profiles of market, supplier, and purchases.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies ensuring safety, qualification and compliance.
• Lead supplier qualification, RFI, RFQ/RFP, bids, evaluations, and negotiations.
• Resolve complex problems using data from multiple sources and sound judgment.
• Negotiate, execute, and implement commercial agreements per strategy.
• Conduct Supplier Performance Evaluation and SRM to drive improvements.
